The District Prayer

Let go ~ and let God’s love hold you.
Let go ~ and let God’s divine spirit fill you.
Let go of your design for the Church ~ that God’s pattern may be woven through you
Abide in God’s love
God waits every moment to permeate our senses
to continue to create us in his likeness
to fill us with hope and true vision.
Gracious and holy God, we re-commit ourselves to you
and your way of persuasive love.
we offer back your Church to you
we offer back ourselves to you
work in us your will and guide us always by your deeply indwelling spirit.
Help us to wait expectantly
To work enthusiastically
And to trust unreservedly.
Amen
