Almighty God, the splendour and beauty of your creation is all around us but we often fail to see it. Help us to make time in our busy lives to enjoy the work of your hands - flowers in resplendent colours, clear blue skies, clouds heavy with rain, gently swaying trees, the song of a robin, the babbling of a brook, sunrise and sunset. There is just so much, if only we open our eyes and see. Thank you for giving them to us so freely. May we appreciate and be always mindful of your wonderful creation. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

We thank God for the work and mission of the Theological Education by Extension College (TEE) in Southern Africa over the last 30 years and for the work of TEE internationally. We pray for God's guidance for the new principal, Dr Tony Moodie, the staff in Johannesburg, and the Regional Co-ordinators, tutors and markers throughout the region. We pray for 3,000 students, 1,000 of whom are Methodist local preachers who will touch the lives of people, from remote villages to cosmopolitan cities. Amen.
