The Nottingham and Derby Methodist District is committed to providing a range of resources and forms that can support and enhance the work and mission of the District.

Whether you are looking for guidance on grants, finance, lay employment, property, safeguarding, or ministerial development, you can find them here. Some of pages also contain information and registration details for upcoming events and conferences in the District. These events, along with events listed on the District Calendar page, are great opportunities to learn more about important issues and network with other people in the District.
You can also view the Our Calling, which is the Methodist Church’s statement of its mission and purpose. It expresses what it means to be a Methodist and how we seek to respond to God’s love in Christ. The District Policy, along with the prayer diary, highlight our vision, values, priorities, and goals of the District. It also describes how the District works with circuits, churches, and other partners to enable them to fulfill the aforementioned calling.
Newsletters
At the heart of our District, we would like to introduce you to our District Newsletter. We invite you to join in with the things that interest you and pray for the wider mission and ministry of the District.
Starting in June 2025, our newsletter will be sent out quarterly, featuring events organized by the district alongside information from the District Team. In addition, each circuit will have the opportunity to showcase its mission and ministry in turn.
